Refugee camp Somalia

The refugee camp in Somalia became a permanent place to live for many, due to a lack of living space outside the camp. This is now the Internally Displaced People camp. This project constructed toilets and water facilities to help 2500 people get access to clean drinking water. It also reduces the risk of getting sick.

To reduce the health risks in the camp, good hygienical sanitation was needed. The families living in the camp built the latrines themselves. They received training, information and education as well.
